Wedge Tailed Eagle

Today’s photo is of a Wedge Tailed Eagle.

When I first landed in Australia, my friend Michaela took me to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. It was a rainy day, which meant we were basically eaten alive by mosquitos. Just when we were about to go insane from being bitten, we happened passed the bird show at the sanctuary. Towards the end, the brought out a massive bird. Eagles have a presence no matter what part of the world you are in. And this one was no different. Magnificent bird.
