Anyone who has ever read the Chronicles of Narnia will understand the value of a lamppost.
This lamppost sits on the corner of one of the paddocks on the property where I live. It isn’t lit too often, but when it is, I always am reminded of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
When I was a kid, my mom read me the Narnia books. I really only remember the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. But when I went to college, I bought the entire series on CD! I had plenty of time to listen to the books in my car driving back home for visits.
I will always be charmed by lampposts.
